E3 2013 – Microsoft Xbox Recap


The highly anticipated Microsoft E3 presentation just happened! We were thrilled to see SmartGlass in action as well as to have so many new games just waiting to be released. Trailers for Dead Rising 3, Project Spark, Sunset Overdrive, RYSE and surprisingly a new Halo game, made this E3 event amazing! Here is a simple recap on the newly released Xbox One information, Xbox 360 news and the massively diverse line-up of games coming to the Xbox One!



  • Priced at $499, coming November 2013. Available for Pre-Order now.
  • SmartGlass for tablet/phone devices creates interactions with the Xbox One Console.  Set up matchmaking, make in-game purchases and find gameplay tips all while playing.
  • Upload Studio! – Edit, share and publish your gameplay with the built-in DVR. Record audio commentary with your kinect and share videos through the Xbox cloud and internet.
  • Broadcast live gameplay straight to Twitch.tv!
  • Microsoft points do not exist anymore. Make purchases using real money.
  • Xbox Live Gold accounts can be shared with family members.

XBOX 360

  • New sleek black re-design, smaller and quieter system. 4GB console priced at $199, & 250GB at $299. Available now!
  • Xbox Gold Members – New Program starting July. Receive 2 free Game Downloads a month (Halo 3 & Assassin’s Creed 2 first)
  • XBL Gold membership will carry over to the Xbox One.
